Great advice, and I would have to agree…you can be pulled in so many directions, it can be tough to stay focused!

      Yep- that’s the big struggle.

  • Great advice here Nate. As always, you always put the best out and glad to always be a beneficiary.

    Hey Nate,

Not been in for a while buddy, good to see you’re still pumping out great content! ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m a star example of the struggle for control of your own mind when it comes to where you want to concentrate. I was one of the first to join the niche vid tycoon class if you remember? (While ago now huh?)

I will tell you one thing I’ve noticed, after all the jumping around from pillar to post looking into different things I’ve been on dozens of peoples lists but very few do I stay on for very long.

You’ll be happy to hear I’m still reading your stuff. Keep it up. ๐Ÿ™‚

Chris- I appreciate that, thank you. Focus is the hardest part, but it’s also the best ‘skill’ you can cultivate. Thanks for reading.

Excellent tips, Nate. I’ve been trying to piece the IM puzzle together for some time and have been guilty of exactly what you talk about here – not focusing on one area til I succeed.

The problem I find is that there are so many things that I find interesting that I just want to try them all! Since I love writing, and product creation, I should probably combine the 2 and aim at Kindle and product creation in general. And boy did the piece where you mentioned feeling you don’t have anything to say that people would want to buy ring true – that’s kept me paralyzed for longer than I care to think! But, you’re exactly right – people pay to have the work/research done for them, and as long as I can keep that in mind, I can get it done.

Again, thanks a lot, Nate – great stuff. This is the first podcast of yours I’ve listened to but I’ll definitely be back for more.

    Cheers,
    Ray

Thanks Ray- glad you liked it.

Focusing on one thing is the key, but it’s really easy to get distracted and think, “I could make money with this, or this, and this…”

      One thing at a time.
