The Right Way to Use Article Spinning Software to Be a Production Maniac

Please take a moment and like, share, or +1 this post…

how to use article spinning softwareArticle rewriting and spinning gets a bad rap… When you hear “spun content”, most people think of spammy, low quality content that barely resembles English. In reality, learning how to properly use article-spinning software is one of the best ways to leverage your time and existing content.

What an Article Rewriter Does

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, “spinning” an article is when you take a standard article and rewrite it in a special format that will result in a “unique” version when put through spinning software.

For example, let’s say we have the following sentence that we want to spin:

Learning to garden is a great hobby to pick up.

A spun version might look like this:

{Starting a garden|Learning to garden} is a {great|fun|fulfilling} {hobby to pick up|way to spend time|pastime}.

As you can probably guess, this would result in several different versions such as:

Learning to garden is a fun pastime.

Starting a garden is a fulfilling way to spend time.

Learning to garden is a great hobby to pick up.

They all mean the same thing, but they’re all different- especially in the eyes of the search engines.

How to Use Article Spinning Software

There are two main uses for high-quality spun content:

  1. For use on buffer pages and other content syndication
  2. For use as link-building content

When you think about the “buffer page” method of link building, which involves posting similar but unique content to a number of web 2.o sites that link back to your main site, you’ll quickly realize how much content you need to accomplish something like that. Technically, you could use the content word-for-word from your main site, but that isn’t ideal for obvious reasons. When you take your original article and put into “spun” format, you can then spin it into an unlimited number of unique versions.

This makes the otherwise tedious and boring buffer page process extremely quick and easy. You can keep hitting the “generate a unique version” button, and paste each new version to as many other web properties as you want.

If you use Unique Article Wizard or any other article submission service(which is the second part to the buffer page method), instead of painstakingly re-writing three versions of your article to submit, you simply hit the ‘generate’ button three more times.

Another Great Way to Use Article Spinning Software

PLR. I stayed away from PLR for a long time, but it has become one of my favorite ways to quickly produce new content for my sites. You can buy PLR packs for much less than you can buy original articles, and one quick trip through your article rewriting software will produce a unique version for your site, as well as all the unique versions you need for your buffer pages and link building.

What is the Best Article Spinning Software?

The best known is “The Best Spinner”. My biggest problem is that it runs on your own machine, and it’s only for PC’s. The article spinner that I think is hands down the best is Spin Rewriter. Spin Rewriter is web-based, so it’s always the most up-t0-date, advanced version without you having to do anything. The other huge advantage is you can use it from anywhere… you don’t have to install it onto every computer you want to use it on. Spin Rewriter also has a completely free-but-fully functional trial that you can use to see if it’s right for you…

Here’s a video on how to use Spin Rewriter:

Nate, thanks so much for the spin rewriter lessons. The displays I’ve seen previously assume one has experience
with spinning, etc. From what I understand you then
submit the spun articles to UAW or SYA (or some such)
and they send them to article directories (or web 2.0 sites)?

I assume you put a link to your site in the articles. Also, do
you use your own name or a made-up name.

I’ve seen bits and pieces of info on the above but never
all put together. Really appreciate the lessons.

    All the best,
    Mary C

hey nate, did you just start using spinning software?

i thought i heard you say before that you never really use spinning software, but that was in an interview from awhile back…was just curious if you just started using it because you are using PLR articles now?

I started using spinning software in the last couple months…

Yeah I started using it for a number of reasons… the main one being you can spend 30 minutes or so doing a high quality spin and then have virtually unlimited content to use for buffer pages, content syndication, and article marketing. The key thing being taking the time to make sure every version reads naturally and doesn’t come out screwed up.

Article marketing might not be quite as powerful as it once was, but thanks for the reminder that spinning is still useful. Here’s a few more ways to use the spinner that have worked for me recently:
    1. Spin some existing content from your site into a couple of good messages for your autoresponder – just info posts that take people back to your site.
    2. Re-spin an article you used in the past, and put it up as a HubPage or a Squidoo or on your buffer pages.
    3. Spin ‘old’ articles or posts and put them together for a bonus for a new product or for a giveaway.

There are probably some more ways – if you’re reading this, do you have any to add?

How strange. I was just on Fiverr.com looking to see what 5 bucks would buy a person if they wanted a 500 word article that they could spin. And then I came over to your sight to see what was new and here you are with a post on article spinning. Anyway, this is great advice. Thanks for the post!

Nate, if you use spin rewriter quickly, that means you just do the automatic spin (low risk?) and not paragraph and sentence spinning (that has to be done manually and takes time). But even with the automatic spin then redoing it manually to make it look better, because it lacks sentence and paragraph spinning, wouldn’t it be not unique enough?

    • Nate

      Reply Reply June 13, 2012

Jonathan, with the automatic spinning on the lowest risk level, it gives me 60-65% uniqueness, which is more than enough for buffer pages and backlinking. If you do spins at the sentence and paragraph level as well, they’ll be different enough where you can put different versions on your own site because they’ll be completely different articles.

    Hi Nate,
I picked up Spin Rewriter from your link.
I already have a UAW account. One thing that confuses me is…
Should I put the already spun version of the article in or the spintax version…{Starting a garden|Learning to garden} is a {great|fun|fulfilling} {hobby to pick up|way to spend time|pastime}.? For the 3 different article rewrites?
The videos I watched on this shows someone putting the spintax in 3 different versions for UAW.
    Thanks,
    Natalie
Ps….I’ve become addicted to your Podcasts! 🙂

Natalie- I just do a really good spin in Spin Rewriter, and then hit the ‘generate’ button 3 times for my UAW submissions. UAW accepts spintax, but I’ve never used it like that.

I believe what you published was very logical. But, consider this, suppose you
were to write a killer title? I am not saying your information isn’t solid., but what if you added a post title that makes people desire more? I mean The Right Way to Use Article Spinning Software to Be a Production Maniac | StrayBlogger is kinda vanilla. You ought to glance at Yahoo’s front page and
note how they write post headlines to grab people interested.

You might try adding a video or a picture or two to grab people
excited about what you’ve written. Just my opinion, it would bring your posts a little livelier.
