Please take a sec and go into the iTunes store and search “strayblogger”, and then rate my podcast and leave a review… I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance cuz I know you’re going to!

{sorry for the raspy voice- I recorded this thing twice!}

In this podcast I cover in detail some of the best things you can do to increase your amazon conversion rate from your review sites.

Some of the things I mention in the podcast:

Easy Video Player: what I use to do the affiliate trick I mentioned (as well as anything else with web video)

Product comparison table plugin: doesn’t have a fancy name… it’s what I use to create comparison tables

Limited Offer: Name: When I was just starting to figure things out, I did an interview where I walked through exactly what was working for me.

You can get this entire interview completely free, and you'll learn a lot from it.

Great podcast, I am really keen to get into Amazon I am already having some great success with Adsense at around $1700 last month as well as other affiliate income but this is definitely the next way I want to diversify my income.

    Couple of questions

Are you using profits theme for these sites?

What sort of competition and search volume are you targeting for the broader terms?

Also outsourcing is easy for Adsense but this sort of content seems like it may be harder to outsource, due to quality an pre-selling, so are you writing your own content?

    Cheers Carl

Thanks Carl. Yes I use Profits Theme for all my sites. For the broader terms I’ll go after any volume of searches as long as the SEOTC is below 20k. I’ll ever go higher sometimes but as I get better at this I can get more competitive terms.

I do write some of my own content but I outsource a lot of my articles as well.

Do you have any examples of good amazon niche sites we can take a look at? Could be yours or someone elses.

Joe, if you google double stroller reviews, the first one is one of mine- I don’t want to link to it from this site.

The funny thing about that one is, the navigation and article structure is a train wreck, but it makes $500-$800 month- that really just proves the main thing is getting clicks to amazon.

awesome podcast Nate. Still working on my first website and I had one question about your last tip:

where do you find the affiliate link to the customer review? I was a little confused by that and I’ve looked all around for it but I can’t seem to find it. Let me know, thanks for all your help!

Patrick- you need to have the Amazon Associates site stripe active, so login to your associates account, then go back to amazon.com and there should be a stripe across the top of your browser that gives you options like ‘link to this page’. Then just go to the reviews of the given product, and click the ‘link to this page’ option and it will give you a link that has your affiliate code within it.
